More Peace for Parents to Come
The first Peace for Parents workshop was held on 10/29. It covered mindfulness, brain science, and conflict resolution. Slides from that session can be found here. The remaining Peace for Parents sessions for 2025 will take place on 11/18 and 12/16 from 8-9pm.

Who We Are
Lafayette is the largest elementary school in the District of Columbia with about 900 students in pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade. We serve students from all 8 wards from over 15 different linguistic backgrounds and believe that our diversity is the source of our strength. We are proud of our academic excellence, talented teachers, happy students, and engaged community.

Donation Opportunities
We are able to provide our students with incredible experiences with the support of the Home School Association (HSA), who accepts donations all year round.
