In order to allow students to experience the full range of Specials classes at Lafayette, rather than operate on a Monday-Friday schedule, there is a 6 day rotation for Specials. Your child’s homeroom teacher will let you know which number day they have each specials class. The 6 day schedule is layered on top of the DCPS calendar in blue, below.

The school will open daily at 8:30 a.m. and class will start promptly at 8:40 a.m. Dismissal will be at 3:15 p.m., with all students being picked up by 3:30 p.m. or transferred to one of our after-school or enrichment programs.
