Together with the Murch and Janney HSAs, we invite all Lafayette families to a free community event: a screening of Screenagers: Elementary Age Edition on Tuesday, April 28 at 6pm at the Avalon Theatre. The one-hour film will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A featuring:
- Dr. Rachel Hanebutt, developmental and community psychologist at Georgetown
- Peng Wu, Janney parent and DOJ attorney focusing on cases involving children targeted on social media
- Suzanne Smalley, Janney parent of three and advocate of the Wait Until 8th initiative
- Patrick Rottman, Assistant Principal for 8th Grade at Deal Middle School
