Lafayette’s Annual Spring Auction will be May 2, 2026 from 7-10pm on Lafayette’s campus! Auction is a beloved adult-only tradition — a night of delicious food and drinks, festive music and dancing, one-of-a-kind items and experiences to bid on, and fun with other Lafayette parents. The Auction Chairs would love YOUR support to make the event a success–and there are many ways to help!
Host an Auction Party:
- The Auction will once again feature our fabulous themed parent and kid parties – from old favorites, like the North Carolina Bluegrass & BBQ party to new additions like a kid-friendly World Cup party.
- Host families pay for expenses associated with the party, and guests purchase a ticket to attend at the night of the auction. These are some of our biggest fundraisers!

Help with Auction Items and Sponsors:
- Donate an item or service for the auction! Think vacation stays, event tickets, services (architectural/interior design, legal, etc.), physical items, cool opportunities related to a job (behind-the-scenes tours). Use your imagination!
- Help connect the Auction Chairs with a potential donor who could provide an item or experience to bid on. We have much better success when we reach out to an actual person rather than an email box. Email [email protected].
- Know of a local company or organization who might want to sponsor the Auction? We offer lots of great sponsor benefits and brand recognition! Email [email protected] with ideas.
Tell a Friend:
- Did your child welcome a new friend to Lafayette this year? Have you gotten to know a new family? Spread the word about this fun-filled evening!
Volunteer with the Auction Committee:
- We need parents to help secure auction items, set up for the event, and other one-off jobs. Please email [email protected] if you are willing to help – whether for a few hours or on a longer term project.
And of course–Attend the Event on May 2, 2026! Tickets will be on sale later this spring.
