We are thrilled to share that this year’s Book Fair was truly one for the record books! Thanks to our amazing community, we had an incredibly successful Book Fair — and the impact is something to celebrate.
By the numbers:
- 230 volunteer shifts filled by incredible parents and community members
- Over $33,000 in books and items sold
- About $10,000 in profits and books reinvested directly back into our school and community
What that impact looks like:
- 135 books purchased from teacher Wishlists — the most we’ve ever been able to provide!
- More than $1,000 donated by families to our scholarship fund
- 16 boxes of books donated to Dorothy Heights Elementary School
Because of your generosity, we were able to refresh our school library, support classrooms with books teachers were hoping for, and share the joy of reading beyond our campus.
A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Leese, our dedicated teachers, our fantastic parent volunteers, and every family who came out to shop, donate, and support this special event. Seeing students light up as they discovered new books, families bonding over reading, and volunteers giving their time so generously was truly inspiring.
Together, we didn’t just meet our goals — we exceeded them and showed once again what an incredible community Lafayette is. Thank you for helping make this year’s Book Fair such a meaningful and memorable success!
