Put on your Santa hat for Takoma Elementary School! For years, the Lafayette community has supported our neighbors across Georgia Avenue during the holiday season helping to provide gifts for the over 100 Takoma families who need gift-giving support.
If you would like to donate a gift basket, you can sign up here. The Takoma counselors and social workers have listed the families with info about the children you are buying for. The baskets need to be labelled with the number of the family, and dropped off by December 13th at 3215 McKinley St NW (Thanks to Rachel Friedman for volunteering to be the drop-off point).
